Highway road sides, I have noticed, have such busy activities with various types of bees. This is very exciting because most of these highway road sides have a few things in common; not the best soil, lots of shade,  and supports a variety of plants. With this in mind I will be planting a highway roadside mix on an area of land that sits right in front of the forest. It is on the North-East side so it gets a lot of shade and a couple of hours of sun which is perfect for this road side mix. A forest garden is not complete without beautiful colors that attract many types of pollinators and humans!

 

 

 

 

 

The Fish Pond

One of the most important resources to any garden, and plant is water. With this in mind I have created a plan in having the ability to catch water and store it to not only produce lettuce, water crest, and seaweed, as well as Carp a type of fish while being an invaluable tool if irrigation of crops is needed. This 1500 gallon pond will be able to produce close to 1000lb of fish. As well as many heads of lettuce. The dimensions will be 8 feet by 10 feet with the deepest part being 4 ft.
